I’ve applied to take a year abroad my senior year in high school.
How will this affect my college admissions?
I am already meeting with colleges individually but generally is exchange a plus or a minus?
Are their special scholarships available to students who have studied abroad in high school?
Just Wondering… 
Go, if by your departure date:
Have completed and are satisfied with your SAT I, SAT II, ACT scores
Completed all college applications, essays, supplementals needed
Not taking any APs senior year
Not holding any leadership, officer positions in clubs, organizations
It doesn’t have to affect your senior year, but why would you want to miss your senior year fun?
Wait and do a semester abroad in college.
