Foreign Language, 3 consecutive years vs two years of 2 different languages

My school has given me the choice to either drop Spanish 3 honors or AP Literature, I chose to drop Spanish 3 honors for right now. In your guys' opinion, what would seem more competitive to admission officers? I would like to major in finance in the future and would not necessarily need either Spanish or Latin(study Chinese in college). I appreciate your responses!

College admissions typically prefers the higher level completed, so completing Spanish 3 would typically be seen as better than completing Spanish 2 and French 2.

Since this is my junior year and they can’t fit spanish 3 hon, should I take Latin 1 then revert back to Spanish 3 Hon my senior year? Thank you again.

I agree with @ucbalumnus‌ you should probably go back to Spanish 3 when you can.

That is now my plan, thanks for both of your responses

I would suggest you to skip Latin 1 but take something more useful. But definitely resume Spanish 3 when you can.

I would love to take something more useful;however, my schedule restricts me from taking anything that is of more use than Latin 1, what would you suggest?

What are your other options?

All of them are electives such as weightlifting etc. I would rather just substitute spanish for a year and then revert back to it senior year
