I'm a ProFrosh who is looking at classes to take next year. I took 4 years of Spanish in high school, but I can't necessarily say that I have adequate mastery of the language, nor have I enjoyed it. Thus, I'm looking to start a new language at Duke to fulfill the foreign language requirement. I want an enjoyable learning experience with cool, funny professors. I've heard good things about Portuguese and Italian - any current students have any input or suggestions?

Im also a prefrosh who speaks spanish and I think the closet language to spanish is italian based on some conversations with an italian friend. Thats what I would do if I didn’t decide to take one upper level spanish course!
