I took Spanish 2 through Florida Virtual School my sophomore year, and I had planned to take Spanish 3 this year. However, I was told by my guidance counselor that there were no spots available, and I could wait for one to become available. I never started the course, and I recently found out that Florida Virtual School no longer offers Spanish 3. I am planning to apply to several Ivy League schools (particularly Yale, Columbia, and UPenn), and know that most recommend 4 years of Spanish. I'm trying to figure out what to do to remedy the situation. My options are

Just take Spanish 3 at school

Try to take Spanish 3 and AP Spanish simultaneously (my school doesn't offer Spanish 4)

Take Spanish 3 at school and AP Spanish online

Try to find another online Spanish 3 course and complete it in the few weeks I have of summer (I'll be attending a summer program), then take AP Spanish at school.

I'm afraid that I'm not a strong enough student to not meet the foreign language recommendation.
