<p>I took three years of French in high school, and feel like I had a pretty good grasp of it; I at least recognize most of the vocabulary, and verbs when I see them even if I couldn’t tell you what the English word translates to in French off the top of my head. (I haven’t taken the language in two years now.)</p>
<p>My advisor recommended that I take fourth semester French (Intermediate French 2013) since I took three years in high school, but I was wondering if anyone else has stepped into a third or fourth semester UofA French class after 3 years of high school French, what was covered, and how prepared they felt for it?</p>
