Foreign Language or Extra Science?

So next year (Junior Year) I'm thinking of dropping my Chinese 4 class in favor of a third science. I kind of hate learning the language, and on top of that, I'm not very good at it, but on the other hand, if I take it next year, I will have completed the Chinese program at my high school.
I want to take AP Physics B instead because A) I love science and hope to major in a science field and B) my school will be turning it into a two year class my senior year, so I won't be able to take it. I have the option of taking AP Physics C as a senior, but its not something I'm as interested in.

I just don't know what a college would like: the three continuous years of the same foreign language, or my extra science classes.

Here's the rest of my schedule for next year:
AP Calculus BC
AP 11 English
AP Chemistry
AP Economics (Macro and Micro)
Genetics/Bacteriology/Biotechnology/Embrology (GBBE)
Chinese 4 or AP Physics B

flip a coin

i have the same problem! i don’t know whether i should take french 3 or another science

I just made a thread about this, lol.

I ended up dropping Spanish IV for AP Chemistry this year (I don’t regret it), and I’m debating whether I should take a 6th science course or take Spanish again senior year.

Dude, do you really have to triple science?

If it makes you happy, then have at it, but seriously man…

I would recommend another year of language but if you are really interested in that science class and cannot take it next year, I would go for it. You can always pick up Chinese Senior year. Some people don’t even have two years of foreign language so even keeping it at that is fine.

Take AP Chem senior year so you can get in the first year of physics now.
