Hey everyone,
I tested out of all of the foreign language requirements, but just barely (seriously by like one question). In some of the prompts, it said that they will do some kind of verification if you test out of all language requirements. Anyone know anything about that? I am just wondering if I need to go back and do more studying or anything. Because obviously I would like to get out of having to take more languages, but I don’t want to be blindsided by some weird interview or test.
Yeah, something was up with those foreign language placement tests. If I had gotten three more questions right, I would have placed out of all of them, and my Spanish is incredibly poor considering I haven’t taken any class in it since sophomore year. I highly doubt you would get in trouble for BSing the test well enough to place out of everything, but I’m in your same shoes and have no idea what they usually do. I wouldn’t worry about it though. They can’t prove you cheated (and you didn’t). I think foreign language tests like that are just usually easy to guess and do reasonably well.
