<p>I have the 24 semester hours I need to transfer but I was wondering if taking a foreign language was required to transfer?</p>
<p>From looking at the link listed below you would only have to meet the standards for entering freshmen if you did not have 24 semester hours, but I would contact admissions to get a definitive answer.</p>

<p>I was asking as someone who plans to transfer from a community college next year. I have the 24 semester hours and the 2.0 gpa i was just wondering if I had to take a fl while still in community college. Thanks so much for trying to answer my questions.</p>
<p>Doesn’t look like it. It seems like you’d be expected to take your FL while here.</p>
<p>I guess it’s not a req’t for admittance since some majors don’t require a FL at all (the engineering majors).</p>
