Foreign Language req. UCLA transfers help!

Alright so I know we have to fulfill a foreign language req and I was hoping to fulfill it by submitting my AP scores which are from 2000 (I graduated hs back in 2001) Are they still on file at college board? I followed the intructions on the new bruins site sent in my $25 check back in mid june but no evidence on myucla indicates that theyv'e received my scores is there any way to contact college board directly and is it possible for ucla to cancel my admission if I do not submit thm by the july 15th deadline they indicated? Anyone having the smae issue and resolved it? Any feedback is appreciated. Thnx :)

They should still be on file at the College Board. I had them send in my AP scores and my MyUCLA reflects that. I think (from what I can infer from your post), that you mistakenly sent in your copy of your AP scores to UCLA. You need to have the College Board send it directly to UCLA. (sorry if I'm wrong with this assumption).

I very much doubt UCLA will revoke your admission (might put a "hold" on your records though until you clear it up).

how did you "have college bpard sent" them directly? How did you contavt cb is what I'm asking.

Sorry to jump in on this mexbruin, but i have a question too.

I received B's for chinese 1 and a C+ for chinese 2 during 1st semester but a C- for second semester. Does this mean i will have to take 1 class at my college? This sucks cuz IGETC says you cant have C-, but does that apply for high school foreign language? When you become IGETC certified, does it list the 2 years of foreign language that i took in high school? Will that be part of my GPA calculations? Im really worried right now

Here you go mexbruin:

<a href="http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_rep.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_rep.html</a></p>

Costs $15 and takes about a week.

No that does not apply for high school foreign language and yes the courses you took in High School will show on your transcript for IGETC if you took the AP test for Chinese then there should be no problem but I might be wrong about the C- I know that when you transfer that the "-" doesn't count. No I think you just get credit for it and its not counted in your gpa my hs grades were not calculated into my college transcript when I transferred but the credit was.
