I’m looking into careers in teaching, and examining where I will go for a masters degree after obtaining my bachelors. Most UC schools said their foreign language requirement for joining Masters in Education program is:either 3 years in high school, or 9 quarter units as an undergraduate. If I only take 2 years of a foreign language in high school, do I still have to take a full 9 quarter units in college, or is the amount lessened since I still did 2 in high school? I don’t want to be told to just take 1-2 more years of FL in high school, I simply want an answer to this specific question I asked.
You may want to ask them if they really mean a specific level of achievement.
