Foreign language requirement uc

Do we need three years or two years? My counselor said only two, so I,m freaking out because i took 3 years, but my last year was Ap Spanish which I passed the class but got a 2 on the ap test. Help. Transferring in the fall of 2012 already applied

I don’t think that you can give back a year of Spanish. Otherwise, I don’t see any issue since you’ve clearly met or exceeded the minimum requirement.

P.S. If bothered by the AP score of 2, did it involve listening skills ?

Yes. My big question is do we need two years or three years because my counselor said two and igetc says two but the Uc’s say three?

Why is that an issue if you have 3 years ?

I took three years but the counselor said it only counts as two because I got a two on my ap score

Nvm three years is for a degree.

Check each UC campus. Those which accept high school foreign language courses in fulfillment of foreign language requirements may consider the level completed, rather than the number of years.
