foreign language requirement

Hi,
My daughter is junior, she has finished 2 years of Spanish and is thinking to drop this year's Spanish.. She is interested in Miami U. Does anyone know the foreign Language requirement for High School ? Is 2 years sufficient? Does she have to take Foreign Language again ?

thanks

Yes, two years are currently required for graduation from MU. As for dropping it now in HS, that is specific to your daughters situation and time constraints. I don’t think it will be a factor for admission that she has toe instead of three years.

Hi Walker,

thank you. But do you know whether two years of HS World Language is sufficient for admission.
the counselor told us that some colleges look for 3 to 4 years, I check Rutgers, another school she is interested, their entrance requirement listed 2 years
