foreign language requirement

So back in my high school I had given an exam of a language other than english i.e. hindi. and I was wondering whether the UC’s will accept that as a foreign language. If so, then how do I get the thing on my transcript.
Thanks

First, you need to speak to your HS counselor to make sure it is put on the your transcript. If the exam is not documented, how can you prove you passed the exam. Second, according the UC website the following exams are acceptable for the Foreign Language requirement. Hindi is not listed so you may have to contact UC admissions.

SAT Subject Examination

The following scores satisfy the entire requirement:
Chinese With Listening: 520
French/French With Listening: 540
German/German With Listening: 510
Modern Hebrew: 470
Italian: 520
Japanese With Listening: 510
Korean With Listening: 500
Latin: 530
Spanish/Spanish With Listening: 520

AP or IB Examination

Score of 3, 4 or 5 on the AP Exam in Chinese Language and Culture, French Language and Culture, German Language and Culture, Italian Language and Culture, Japanese Language and Culture, Spanish Language, Spanish Language and Culture, Spanish Literature and Culture or Latin;
score of 5, 6 or 7 on an IB Language A2 HL exam

i do have that language on my transcript and regarding the language, does that mean that only those will satisfy the requirement and not any other ones.?
so do i contact a particular UC to see whether they accept hindi as their foreign language or not?

Hi, where and how did you take the exam? Appreciate you sharing the information.

@Gumbymom Can we take the SAT subject test after we receive admission decisions in March and still send the score in for placement purposes? Or will it be too late?

I would contact admissions directly for a definitive answer. From my prospective, if you do not have the foreign language requirement fulfilled by the time decisions are out, I would assume your application will not be considered in the first place Call admissions.
