Can a current student please tell me what score on an AP or SAT 2 satisfies the requirement and would keep a student from having to take a language course?

Scores were Latin AP 4 and Latin SAT 2 700.....

I think if you have 2 units, you satisfy the requirement. Hence, I think your AP score will do it for you. Hopefully, someone else can answer it more definitively than I can (I’m BSE, so we don’t have a foreign language requirement).

Your four gets you out of the requirement.

Do you need to do a language to get a degree? If I were to take AP Spanish, would I need to take any courses at Princeton for Spanish? Should I just take the AP in High School?

You need to prove by the end of your four years that you are proficient in a language if you’re an AB candidate. If you get above a 4 on the AP Spanish test, you’ll be exempt from taking classes at the University.

Not any more. Now you need to get a 5. I want to cry. I hate foreign languages and I got a 4 on the AP Spanish exam. I was hoping I would never have to take a Spanish class again, and now this… :(

Anyone know what the requirement/if there is one for B.S.E. students?

i really hope there is no foreign language requirement for BSE, and overall less distribution requirements, can anyone clarify this?
