Foreign Language Requirement

I took Spanish 1, 2, and 3 in high school and this is the grades I received:

Spanish 1: First Semester: C- Second Semester A
Spanish 2: First Semester: A Second Semester A
Spanish 3: First Semester: B Second Semester A

Will that be accepted for the two years requirement for IGETC? Also, if I send in those grades stating that I completed two years of foreign language in high school, will they look at my grades in high school and base their decision on those grades, or will it be strictly college courses?

I also received a 2 on my AP exam in high school. Will I be required to add that to my application and if it affect my admission?

Also, if I plan to drop a course and receive a W, would I put that W on the UC application and leave the rest of my courses this Fall semester blank considering that I am still taking them.

Thanks.

Make an appointment with the counseling offices at your CC then show your official high school transcript to them; you’ll earn credit for those spanish classes you took in high school but no grade with show on your IGETC. And yes it will be accepted. I think only AP classes along with regular classes taken towards the foreign language will give you units earned towards the IGETC. Keep in mind each college has different acceptance of AP scores.

And this question has been asked many times already so do some research bro.
