Foreign Language Waiver?

Hello,

I am a high school junior at the moment. Last year I completed Latin II and signed up for Latin III. However during the course of the summer, the school board has cut Latin as a foreign language all over the county. Therefore I will only have taken two years of a FL by the time I graduate. Will colleges with a 3 year FL requirement or "recommendation" waive this requirement or ignore it, due to the fact that it was cut? I am thinking of schools like Vanderbilt, USC (Cali.), Washington and Lee, etc.

P.S. I have very good grades and did well on the ACT (I don't plan on taking the SAT).

You’d probably get quite a bit of leniency if you explained the situation, especially if you took two more years of another language. If you just stop, they might not be so understanding.

Bumpity bump
