Foreign language

I have very little foreign language background, I tested out of one semester of Spanish before my junior year but did not continue as I felt the time would be better spent studying for the seven APs I took that year (four were self-studied.) I am uncertain of my major. Which school should I apply to, would I be better off applying to Engineering instead of LSA? Here are my stats below:

GPA: 3.93 (Unweighted)

ACT:
Composite: 32
English: 33
Math: 35
Reading: 27
Science: 34
Writing: 8

APs
Statistics: 5
Biology: 5
Chemistry: 5
Environmental Science: 5
Calculus BC: 5
Physics B: 5
Computer Science: 4
World History: 4

SAT Subject Test
Math Level II: 800
Chemistry: 790

Tested out of
Algebra I - second semester
Geometry - first semester
Algebra II - full year
Precalculus - first semester
Biology - full year
Physics - full year
Spanish I - first semester

Senior Scheduled
Help Teach Math Assistance Class
AP English Lit
AP Art History
AP Physics C Mechanics
AP US History (online class)
CIS 200 (Computer Science II - dual enrolled at U of M Dearborn)
CIS 275 (Discrete Structures)

As I mentioned earlier I only have one semester of foreign language while U of M requires 2 years but I feel they would be foolish to reject me just based on this fact, should I apply to the college of engineering even though I'm uncertain of my major but it will likely be math or science related?

They won’t reject you based on your language history. You don’t take the placement exam for your language until after you enroll. I went into U-M with absolutely no proficiency in my chosen language. The first term of language at U-M is meant for students with little to no proficiency in the language.

And whether you apply to the CoE or LSA depends on what you want to major in… Do you want to be an engineering student or what? If yes, then apply to the CoE. You look like a match for the CoE and a high match for LSA.
