Foreign Language

I plan on applying to some highly competitive pre med programs and I was wondering if only 2 years of foreign language would hold me back?

Should I try and get my schedule changed to include 4?

Aim for at least 3, but it depends on your level of proficiency. If you are at level 3 or 4 at the end of two years, just two years might be fine.

Agree with Paintall, but with foreign language most colleges want you to take all four. I think only two wouldn’t be enough, unless as stated above you were in a higher level.

At my school, we have to take 3 years of one language or 4 years of two different languages to graduate. Check with your counselor to make sure 2 years is enough to graduate.
