Hello All:
I am in freshman year and I am taking Magnet Spanish 4. I have the possibility in junior year to skip Spanish 6 and go directly to Spanish 7. Should I do that to free one more elective for senior year or just learn foreign language all 4 years of high school? Would colleges mark against me for that?
Highest level completed is usually the more important factor when colleges look at your foreign language record in high school.
Thanks @ucbalumnus. So, if I finish 7, with a year left in high school, it will be the same equivalent as someone who finishes 7 at senior year?
For most colleges yes, especially if that is the highest level available. You can ask each college of interest to be sure.
