<p>4 years is certainly ideal, and I would say it increases your chances of admission.</p>

<p>i dropped german my sr year and i got in. its funny actually i dropped it after i applied ed, and got deferred, so they only accepted me after i dropped a class LOL</p>
<p>It's always a good idea to be as far along as possible in as many different areas as possible.</p>
<p>I took three years of Spanish in high school and was accepted. Four years is recommended but not required.</p>
