I took two years of Italian but transfered schools and had to take 2 years of Spanish, can i still be eligible for Harvard?

attach a letter explaining the circumstances

Do you think it will affect me at all?

Why would it? Doesn't taking more language make you seem like a more "cultured" applicant?

I doubt it will affect you seeing as it wasn't your fault.

What? Ummmm... still eligible? What are you referring to?

If it's the "four years of a foreign language" thing they mention in the FAQ, then

a) They never say it has to be the same one, and
b) It's just a guideline- obviously many, many people are going to be in different situations. I didn't even take a foreign language all four years- I dropped Spanish senior year to take an extra AP science and they let me in.

Seriously- they're not applying this as a hardfast rule. It's a guideline that emphasizes the importance of taking a challenging curriculum.

Actually.. I just realized that I won't have 4 years of a language either. Does having 3 years of 3 seperate languages (online classes) count?

What Admiral said.
