<p>I'm considering transferring to College Park. Does the university in general have a foreign language requirement? I looked through the CORE General requirements and couldn't find anything. I'm assuming certain departments and majors will require it, but does the university in general require a foreign language?</p>

<p>No, the current CORE program doesn’t require any foreign language at all. I can’t say anything for any specific college outside of engineering though.</p>
