Foreign Language

This is my first post, but I have a question I can't find an answer to. I was recently admitted to Harvard, and that is definitely where I am going to go. I also plan to 'concentrate' in economics, but I saw somewhere that as an undergrad, your basic choices for language are Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Italian, and French. However, I think I want to learn a different language, maybe Russian or German. Is there a way that I can do this without having to switch my concentration to 'Slavic Studies' or something of that nature?

Thanks.

Yes. I think you were on the Harvard Undergraduate Department of ROMANCE languages. Which would explain why the only choices listed were romance languages.

Thanks! It’s great to know how many choices I have!
