If a person is a Wharton student, can he study a foreign language in the College of Arts and Sciences and achieve outstanding proficiency in it? I mean like taking 8 courses in the target forein language.

My plan A is Huntsman ED, but If I can't get into it, I would consider applying to Wharton if I can study a foreign language from CAS.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You can take as many language courses as you want regardless of what school you are in. You have the freedom to take at least one language course a semester unless you are a nursing student. The best way to learn a language fluently is to go abroad, which you can do as a Wharton student.

Awesome. Thanks a lot.

You can take courses anywhere. There are tons of double majors that are within more than one school. (I’ve even heard of triple majors). As Venkat said, you’d be just fine.
