Forensic Pathology/Science Program

Hey All,

I u I was wondering if anyone knows any Forensic Pathology Programs at Universities. I live in Texas and I know there is one at UNT. Are there any others? I heard there is one at Wake Forest and UNC Chapel Hill but I have no clue if they are true

Any Help Appreciated,
Stephen

at least some feedback would be greatly appreciated…

Thanks

There are no undergrad programs in that if that’s what you’re asking. If not, you should ask this on the med school forum. Here’s how you become a forensic pathologist.

  1. Follow the pre-med track in undergrad.
  2. Four years later, get into medical school.
  3. Take three to five years of residency in anatomical pathology.
  4. Take a one-year fellowship in forensic pathology.
Keep in mind that the fail rate for forensic pathology board exams is about 50%. Make sure you have the stomach for this job because forensic pathologists see a lot of gruesome, disgusting things.

Yeah, what he said. Make sure you take all the pre-med requirements, go to med school, do a residency, do a fellowship. You don’t do an undergrad program in a specialty like forensic pathology.
