<p>It doesn't matter. What matters is whether or not the person decides to go to another college. You don't have to withdraw your other applications, but you'd better not attend another school you'd rather go to, if you get in.</p>

<p>Most ED contracts (the ones you sign after acceptance and send in with your deposit) probably include something to the effect of "I have withdrawn all other applications." A student couldn't sign the contract in good conscience if he/she hadn't withdrawn the other apps.</p>
<p>And really, how is it possible that someone could "forget" that they applied to a college?</p>
