Forging signature

I am a college student, I have one more semester to transfer to university.
I forged the signature of my mentor teacher of a field Experience. I needed 1.5hrs left to finish it but teacher called off on the last day I had and I could not finish it. I freaked out and I forged the signature and submitted it to my coordinator. However I felt so guilty I confessed like 3 hours after I sent it and sent a long letter apologizing. What do you think are my chances that the coordinator will overlook it? I don’t know what to expect and I am anxious. I’ve been working hard and I have good grades… it was the spur of the moment and I couldn’t take the email back. Do staff have to notify the school always? I asked her to please not open the email? I just don’t know what else I could do and I really don’t know what to do now.

I’m not sure there’s much else you can do at this point. It’s done.

You already sent the email. Like @bjkmom said there isn’t much to do but brace for what’s coming next.
