I am now a rising sop. in high school and was wondering if the admissions at UM is very nit picky over grades. Because my grades for my 9th grade year were very bad. Has any one applied and gotten in with bad 9th grade grades?</p>
<p>Luckily you still have 3 years to go, where you will most likely have to make up BIG TIME depending on exactly how low your freshman grades were. Colleges love improvement...don't put yourself in the denied pile yet...</p>
<p>yeah I have to dig myself out of the high 1's to low 2's in my gpa. So I do have to do alot of work. But thanks for the words of encouragement</p>
