I've just begun to take muti-variable calc (Cal III) and the class would be extremely easy if I hadn't taken Calc over 2 years ago my junior year in high school. I have forgot some basic concepts but as soon as i look them up everything comes flooding back. So, I'm looking for a short calc review book dod do some review and problems. Has anyone been in this sort of situation and if yes do you have any recommendation regarding a book that you have used?

No ideas, but I'm in almost the same situation. I'm taking Calc 3, and I took Calc 2 a year ago (fall semester senior year). And though that's only one year instead of two, I've still forgotten a lot!

Thankfully, I still have my calc book, since I took Calc 2 at a community college (my high school only offered AP Calc AB, which I took junior year). Unfortunately, I let someone borrow my book, and I've yet to get it back...

BOOKADDICT:

I just found a site with a quick list of all basic equations and chain rule, implicit, etc. that I think you might like.

REST OF READERS:

YOU CAN DISREGARD THE POST. don't need to respond anymore unless you have some sort of fantastic list/etc.

Hmmm...Still looking around, but this site and this site seem to have better info than the sjsu one, which has nothing about integration.

Really, though, googling "calculus review" brings up a lot of good results!

oh i found that one too. the sju one was just for a basic list of deriv equations (the 1st review). that's really the only thing worth from there. i agree that the other site is much better at in depth review and what not.

i'm just going to borrow a condensed cal review book (princeton review or something similar) from a friend of mine. quick explanation and some practice problems that's what i need.

yeah that's what i did too i just type in calculus review.

I see. Yeah, I'm going to try to get my calc book back, but otherwise, I'll just use those sites.
