<p>Waiving your rights shows that you have confidence you will have a good recommendation letter, so unfortunately it likely will be a factor in admissions.</p>
<p>I contacted all my colleges and they allowed me to fax another copy with my signature waiving my rights, so I think I should be okay.</p>
