Here's the situation.
I normally go to college A, but last summer I took calculus 2 during summer at college B which is another ccc in the same district. I got a D in the summer class. I'm retaking calculus 2 at college A this semester and I'm pretty sure I'll get an A. I forgot to put down the class I took at college B when I submitted my UC application. From what I understand, if you get a D or an F in a class and retake it and pass, they don't factor the D or F into your GPA, but it stays on the transcript that you took the class. How can I update my academic history so this class is included, but make sure they don't factor in the D in my GPA since the courses are equivalent (even though they are from separate ccc's)? My main concern is to make sure that they know that the courses are equivalent. If they were from the same school, this probably wouldn't be an issue. They have the same course id MATH 185, so they definitely look equivalent though.

The issue about them not being sure if the course are equivalent shouldn't be a problem-- when you send them transcripts from both schools, it should say what courses they are.

When you sent in your application, you should have received an email with information about how to make changes to your application:

"If you need to make changes to the information you provided in the Academic History section of the application, or if you change schools after you submit your application, notify by mail the admissions office at each campus to which you applied. (You can find the admissions office mailing addresses in UCs online directory; campus links are listed on the left side of the page.) Transfer applicants should update their coursework at the Application Update website."

Hope that helps!
