Forgot to cite documents in APUSH DBQ... omg am i screwed?

Usually after I finish writing my essay, I put the document letter in parentheses at the end of sentence to cite it. This is to not disrupt my flow of writing. However, today I completely forgot to do that since I was so caught up in re-reading in (and I was really proud because I thought I had a lot of outside information).

I’m pretty sure I implied the documents pretty well but I don’t know… how much will this impact my score?

Not at all as long as the documents were clear through either quote or implication. AP readers are trained to recognize the documents and read so many essays that they will have no trouble recognizing a clear reference. There are several examples of high scoring released essays that did not cite at all.

its only a minor ding.
