Forgot to fill in the Serial Number!

I realized at the last minute that I forgot to fill in the Serial Number on the front page! But I was told not to write anything. Now I am really concerned about my whether my score will be out!
I guess the Serial Number is only a sequence of thousands of textbooks. The Test Form or something is for processing the score. But I am still concerned. Is there anyone knows how to deal with this?

I think you’ll be fine. If I remember right, your score might be delayed, but nothing worse.

The only reason they use the serial number is 1) To confirm your answer sheet with a certain test type (there are three different tests, so three different answer keys) and 2) To make sure you actually signed the agreement on the back page.
As cheerioswithmilk said, your scores MAY be delayed, but I wouldn’t worry. If you ask them next time to fill it out, I’m sure they’ll let you. If you actually show them filling it out and doing nothing else, there should be nothing wrong with that.

Thank you
But my test center is kinda big. After they told me not to write anything, they collected my answer sheet, put it in a box with everyone else’s, and SEALED the box, so i give up asking for another chance to fill in that blank.
Do you mean my score will be eventually available, although it may be delayed?

Yeah they will be available, but the official date is Dec 22. They may not be available online that day, but they will likely be available later. They always say “a small percentage of scores will not be available” and you’re definitely not the only one who has made a mistake. A wrong name, address, DOB, is MUCH worse.

Thanks! I feel much better now!
