Forgot to list Boys' State on application

On the common app, I forgot to list Boys' State as one of my extracurricular activities. I realized that there was no summer section on the common app AFTER submitting my app...

I intend to be an engineer, and some of the activities that I listed on the EC section were research and other science related activities. Boys' State is strictly political, but I thought it was just a good EC to list on the app.

Should I worry about this? I mean, Boys' State is prestigious and well-known. I also held a notable position. I was thinking about sending a fax telling them that I was in Boys' State.

What should I do?

That’s not going to make a difference either way.

To be honest it won’t affect your application that much. For the future everyone, summer programs go in the additional information section on the common app. I went to boy state NY last summer and I didn’t like it that much. The marines didn’t make it a fun and enjoyable time for me. Then I lied to my teacher who nominated and said I had a good time. Good thing about it is that its free. But back to my point yea if you want to fax it or mention it in an interview then more power to you but it won’t affect your app a lot.
