There is a question on the Common App asking what courses I would be taking this year. I only listed the 6 I would be taking this semester, and not any of the second semester courses I would be taking, AP Micro and communications. For AP Micro, I sort of have an excuse because I had wanted to take the class, but it wasn't confirmed until after I had applied. Communications I didn't list just because it was for the second semester and I read the question wrong.

I have no idea what to do. I submitted a month ago, and I don't know how bad it would look to contact them long after the deadline. Maybe they're even done reviewing my app and will have to bring it back up or something, I don't know. It just looks bad for me, and I don't know what to say that will not make this negatively affect my application. Will it even affect the decision at all? Should I even tell them? Not telling them seems to be the worst out of all of these choices, though.

Also, I was wondering about the question where you list the colleges you are applying to. Is putting around 10 colleges on that list, like I did, going to impact their decision in any way, negatively or even positively? My counselor told me to list the ones that I have even a small notion of applying to, and I've changed my mind about some of them. So now I regret listing the ones I am not applying to, especially the prestigious ones, because listing them might make it seem like Rice is not my highest priority, even though it is.

I applied Early Decision, if that helps with anything.
