forgot to mail transcript and SAT scores

So were we supposed to mail colleges our transcript and send the SAT score via collegeboard?

This is the type of question best asked two months ago and now I have just dropped everything I have worked for right down the drain, just, good bye. Doesn't matter how good my essay was, how many people proofread it, nor how hard I worked for a better SAT score, nor the 8 AP exams I took, nor my extracurriculars, because guess what you will not realize that you were supposed to mail these things and the deadline was two weeks ago (or two days from now) and after valorously finishing your application and getting ready to enjoy Thanksgiving you realize your future was already decided and that it's a DEFINITE REJECT because I did not mail neither the transcript nor the SAT score.

I wanted to do my best and tackle my preferred and back up schools first and now they are the ones screwed; there is no back up schools no dream schools all I have left that are schools i'm not entirely psyched about... I feel like i'm riding a roller coaster without any seat belts. Is this a dream? I can feel my heartbeat in my arms but I can't feel my arms.

I didn't know we were supposed to do this and now I am twelve colors of ****ed... This was probably very common sense to people but wow it had to be me to be screwed. I hope if there were any people left as stupid as me, they would somehow see this thread and realize there were supposed to send this stuff. May fortune guide them to this post and let them learn from my mistakes because looks like i'm staying another year at home.

Stop being so dramatic. Nothing has happened. Colleges have not even started looking at aapl. Send your scores and transcript with rush duke very today and you will be fine,.

Umm. Theres still a month left till deadlinds

Your school sends the transcript and 2ndary school reports. See your GC to understand your school protocols. You should go to each target college and find out their exact requirements & deadlines.

And like Mnomno said, tone down the dramatics. The earth hasn’t split due to your oversight. Everything is repairable.

You may not be able to grasp this but: the colleges want to admit you.

As others have said, calm down. At worst you apply regular decision instead of early decision. As you sit in your pity party, feeling it was only you that this happened to, remember that each and every school has step by step application instructions on their websites. They list the things they require and the deadlines for those. In addition the vast majority of schools set up an online portal for you after you apply. When you log in you can, and are asked to, monitor any outstanding documents needed to process your application. If you read directions and paid attention as you went through the process it was really difficult to miss these items. You did. Instead if whining that something happened TO you, take responsibility for not getting it done, rush send your scores calling the school(s) letting then know they’re on their way, as well as your transcript. Speak to your GC and apologize for the rush request to send your transcript and thank them for their assistance. You messed up. You can fix this. The sky is not falling.
