I submitted my Common App without realizing we could put “future” AP tests in the test section, so I forgot to put BC Calc as an exam I’m planning to take.
I’m planning to take the BC Calc exam this May, and I listed that as the number one course in the “Future Courses” section (also very clear that I’m a CS and STEM major), should I be concerned?
To put it in perspective, I’ve taken the AP Computer Science A exam, the European History, US History, and Physics B exam.
For every AP course that I’ve taken, I’ve taken the exam and gotten at least a 4 (Physics B I self-studied).
This is for Princeton REA.
Don’t quote me on this, but I’m pretty sure it does not matter if you self-report or not. You will end up sending the official score report to your college of choice after you get the score back anyways and they will see that you are taking the class since they receive your transcript. I’m not entirely positive if this varies from school to school though.
You could always try contacting the school.
That’s true. I did list it as the courses I’m taking right now, but some kids don’t take the AP after they take the course, espeically senior year. So I’m not too sure.
I would try contacting the school, but I feel like it makes me seem a bit desperate for such a minute part of the application (I am in contact with one of the admissions reps, which is nice)
