Forgot to report W on community college transcript

I took a community college course in the summer of sophomore year so I need to submit my transcript to colleges, but I forgot to report on my common app that I also withdrew (marked with a W) from another course earlier this semester due to extracurricular duties. Should I contact the schools or will I be okay?

I forgot to mention this initially but the class that I received credit for over the summer (the one I didn’t withdraw from) is included in my high school transcript, so I was wondering if I needed to send in the college transcript in addition to the high school transcript when admitted into the school. Thank you.

yes, you need to submit the college transcript

Yes, submit that transcript. There is a clearinghouse colleges can use to verify a student’s history. It’s just better if it comes from you.

Where on my common app should I indicate my W? I don’t really have a space on my application to do that, and it doesn’t appear on my school transcript. Also, when it asks for time completed coursework at college, should I put the end date as sometime this year (even when I withdrew) or should I put it as when I finished the class I actually got credit for?
