<p>I don’t think it’s required but most people do it. Generally you only send official scores to the college you choose to attend after they accept you</p>
<p>I do think it’s worthwhile to email your schools with this additional information. Assuming you did not send the official score reports, strong self reported AP scores can help your application.</p>
