Ok…we need to complete form 709 this year, and I’m seeing this is not actually part of ones tax return filing.
So….how do you get the form, and how do you complete it??

Thumper, I called my accountant prior to giving $, and he told me about this form. This is one year I will stick with the accounting firm.
I’m thinking I will need help with this form. The directions don’t actually make sense to me…and I am pretty good with these things. Doesn’t matter…gifts have been made…so Form needs to be done.
If your spouse is not deceased, it is not that terribly complicated. That said, you can always pay an accountant to help you.
