My interviewer contacted me earlier today and asked me to submit a form for the interview. Supposedly, I was supposed to receive it from the admissions office, and I haven't. Does anyone know where I can find this form? Perhaps you can send it to me? Thanks.

BUMPPPPPPPPPPPPP I have to email this person T-T

I think the norm for interviews is that they show up with a form (more like a packet) and they write in their comments and things as the interview progresses, and then either at the end (or at the beginning in some cases, I suppose) they’ll ask you about GPA and scores and things like that because in their packet there is a page dedicated to those numbers. However, the interviewer shows up with it, in my experience.

Most interviewers are chill though. Email them saying you hadn’t received a form from the admissions office and they won’t b**** you out about it.

Never heard of a form before. Feel comfortable calling him (or email if you’re that terrified).:)

Thanks guys for your comments. I just submitted to my interviewer my academic resume and told him I did not receive the form. Someone did send me the form though but I thought a resume would be more appropriate.

Good luck at your interview!

The whole form thing was completely new to me; good call on sending in a resume. I also brought copies of my essays to the interview as well.

I had to use a form for my interview - my interviewer had just moved to my state from Southern California, so I’m guessing it was probably the same form you were emailed. I brought along a resume as well, and my interviewer said he actually preferred that to the form, so I think you’re good

Thank you! Do you think I should bring in my essay too? It would be pretty cool if my interviewer read it. It would definitely make him understand more about me.

How long should I expect the interview to be? My interviewer is a doctor at UCLA so he’ll probably be busy :/.

How long the interview goes depends on the flow of the conversation. It will be at least 30 minutes long. The first few minutes will be introductory and probably standard questions; from there the convo will flow more naturally. I brought my essays–it will give the interviewer to make connections from the interview to the essay to their report; there will be more consistencies throughout your entire application. Also, like you said, the essays will show another facet of your personality.

Good luck!
