Form of Transfer Responses

Just wondering from those who have been through the process:

Do people who are accepted as transfers get the traditional folder or big envelope, and rejectees get the small letter letter?

Nope…you get two regular envelopes if you’re accepted: one from the university and one from the specific college you were admitted to. The Case for Cornell packet arrives shortly after and you’ll receive the Cornell Bound packet after you submit your acceptance deposit.

In addition, your decision is posted online once it is rendered (anytime between the end of April and mid-June).

Dewdrop–are GT notifications that late as well? Or do they typically find out sooner? I am getting so antsy…

Yeah…I’m pretty sure all GT decisions are sent with the regular transfer decisions. I was a regular transfer…maybe one of our GTs can provide some more insight.
