Formal Withdrawal - transcript notation?

<p>I am forced to withdrawal from this semester for medical reasons [i have a chronic illness that is very unpredictable] but I'm afraid how this might look on my transcript. I read on L&S that only the date of withdrawal will appear on my transcript and here is the quote [<a href="http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/registration/withdrawal.html%5D%5B/url"&gt;http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/registration/withdrawal.html][/url&lt;/a&gt;] "The withdrawal date will appear on the transcript, and all courses for the term will be removed. The reason for withdrawal is confidential and does not appear on the transcript." But Im not quite sure what this means, does it mean that the w's won't appear on my transcript for each individual course I had attempted this semester??</p>

<p>you should probably just go to an advisor…but that takes forever. but umm i think when u go to grad school or whatever you plan to pursue, you’ll get a chance to explain anyways especially if u have documented info.</p>
