Format for an Update

Hello!

Just wondering--what is the generally accepted format for a letter updating the admissions committee on a recent achievement/award? Is it best to email, or fax? And how exactly should you put it?

I wouldn’t really bother with an update at this point. The Admissions Committee will be finalizing everything by now. There’s probably a week left even if the decisions are two weeks away. Unless its really something unusual, there’s not much influence it can have. In general, any update needs to be reviewed, and it’s highly unlikely it will happen at this point. However, if you want to send it, email the document (paste it, don’t attach) to fileroom@fas.harvard.edu with the name Ian Anderson in the subject line.

I had the same question; thanks, int’lstudent’12. It might be too late, but guess it couldn’t hurt. :/
