Hey Does the UC care about the formatting of the essays, in terms of paragraphs? I just separated paragraphs by going to the next line without any indentation or spaces in between.

I have the same question...I skipped a space between paragraphs to exaggerate that it was the start of a new subject, but I wouldn't really worry about it. It's not like they're going to reject you because you didn't indent or something.

it tells you how to format it on site...save it as a text file, open the text file, and copy paste

They care about content not format :)

ahhh alright, so it's ok if my essay are all in block form without any indentation?

just a note: the uc doesnt say anything about indentation, it just says they dont care if you use special characters, what not. etc.

ahhh alright, so it's ok if my essay are all in block form without any indentation?

Yeah, you cannot (it won't let you) indent/put spaces at the very beginning of your essay so the block form would be ok, that's how it worked for me

no no no!!! now you guys will be rejected! you should've payed more attention to the format b/c that's what counts the most, not content!

:D

yaay i submitted , i just left a line of space in between paragraphs!

thx everyone for the help and the jokes :)

phew i felt so relieved after i turned in the app...

but now, i have to work on boston university's app :/

Okay, so basically, it doesn't really matter if your whole essay is just one, long paragraph, right? :)
