there is no fixed format. stop worrying abt these kind of question. its alright as long as u dont use size 28, and do u double space everytime u write an essay?(not me)..id put the title in, since there are 3 questions u can choose from for each. the word count is not a cutoff one, a little over or under wouldnt affect ur chance.

there are no real guidelines. just don't be absurd. What you usually use for a school essay is fine.

generally, put in a title (not in wordcount) and it can just be "Essay 3: Supplement". It just helps with filing.
Margins are always 1".
Text: 12.
Font: Times New Roman/Arial/nothing retarded or hard to read. I prefer times new roman.
double/single: your choice. I prefer single because double wastes unnecessary paper but again, doesn't matter.

winston, there are lots of schools that require you to submit work double spaced; it allows people to make comments and edit papers more quickly. In college, some professors require the same of you.

Check the instructions. a lot of the information will be the same as what db provided but things change from year to year.

Hang in there.

When we had our own application, we asked for about half a page, single spaced. Going over isn't the end of the world, but you shouldn't really need to go over a page, single spaced.
