Im taking physics 208 over the summer. Obviously, the course will not be as difficult, and I will probably learn less than I would if I took it here. However, for Mechanical engineering, is physics 208 an essential class? Like will I use what I learn in 208 a lot in the future in upper lever classes?
Asked my Mechanical Engineering daughter – she said “Definitely, take it over the summer. I did, after my freshman year, and I was absolutely fine in upper level.”
Physics 208 is a pre-req for ECEN 215 (Principles of Electrical Engr) which is scheduled sophomore year. Then ICEN 215 is a pre-req for MEEN 364… If you take physics 208 at CC or somewhere else, are you prepared to do well in ECEN 215?
