I am a current UNC-Greensboro adult student (24) who is planning to transfer to a smaller, liberal arts college. My high school transcipt isn't too bad (probably about a 3.5 GPA, maybe 3.7 weighted), and my SAT scores were decent (690 verbal, 640 math) but they're from 2004.

I slacked off terribly my first semester at college (Loyola University New Orleans). I ended up getting a 2.0 GPA and losing an academic scholarship. Also, a few months before I started college, I got a charge for underage possession of alcohol. (This was in 2005).

I took a few years off, then started back at community college. I got a 4.0 for the semester, but the classes I took were pretty basic (Conceptual Physics and Lab, Elementary Spanish I, Calculus I, and Expository Writing).

It's my 2nd semester at UNCG, and I have a 4.0. These are the classes I've taken:
last semester: 101 Intro to Sociology, 210 Intro to Asian Studies, 343 Music Cultures of the World, and 212 Intro to Cultural Anthropology. withdrew from ENG 381 English Drama to 1800. (I started working part-time and decided to only take 12-13 hours per semester).

this semester: ENG 212 Brit Lit: Renaissance to Modern, ENG 376 Native American Women's Writing, Chemistry for non-majors with lab, PSY 330 Biological Psychology. Still working part-time, and I volunteer with NAMI.

My overall GPA is a 3.17 because of my terrible grades from Fall 2006. Also, I'm concerned that my underage possession of alcohol charge will reflect negatively on me on an application. Please let me know what you think my chances are at these schools:
