I turned in Part 2 of the Application on Friday, but I couldnt download the forms until today. Does that mean that I won't be considered for scholarships if I turn the forms in by Friday? Thanks!

No,.. you're fine since you got your part of the application in by Dec 1st.

Thank you!

I could be wrong but I was fairly certain the forms had to be POSTMARKED by 12/1 for consideration. That is the case for every other app I've ever seen, and I applied to USC and I thought I remember reading that. Couldn't hurt to call and ask.

Does the rec need to be in by the application deadline?
Admissions has stated in phone calls from CC members that they give a little leeway in that. There is no exact time stated but the sooner you get it in, the sooner your application will be evaluated. I wouldn't wait for more than one week after the application deadline.

This goes for all the additional forms needed.

For those who are still waiting for the forms to be available for download- don't wait. Get them from the Admission website-

There is also the fact that this year students apparently can't download forms till they've submitted Part 2. (yes, there's another way to download standard forms and write in the ID # or SSN on top but a lot of new applicants don't know this). So if people submit near or on the scholarship deadline day, those forms can't be filled till afterwards. USC has to be aware of this. I also don't think admissions is going to start evaluating right away in the first week of December.
