Hello,
First post here. Has anyone received any information regarding semi finalists or finalists for the FASP Class of '21? It says the finalists would be notified by late January, but I haven’t heard anything or seen anything regarding someone being notified yet. Furthermore, I’m on the Fine Arts route, and I’ve heard that they have a different timeline for Fine Arts applicants in comparison to other applicants. Has anyone received any notifications, or should I still keep my fingers crossed? If it helps:

  • 1500 SAT, 3 time Texas All State Orchestra member, 2 time section leader of Region 12 Symphony Orchestra as well as 4 time member, founded Rubik’s Cube club and Programming club at school, 150 hours of volunteer work, section leader of school’s varsity orchestra and city youth orchestra for almost four years, Director of Chemistry Club, NHS, SNHS, NEHS
  • I also received my acceptance into UT and the Butler school yesterday morning (02/13)

S has friends who have been notified that they are finalists. I believe prior posts on UT threads indicated that semi-finalists were notified several weeks ago. There are other Texas Exes chapter scholarships available and those will occur in April/May timeframe with interview requests going out at that time. You can search the UT Austin forum for “forty acres” and find exact dates of notification. Congrats on your acceptance!

My D is a finalist. Finalists were notified after semi-finalist interviews last month.
